Hartsholme Park

I decided to extend my Easter break by another day and had booked today off work. I'm pleased I did as the weather was still lovely. We made the most of it and enjoyed a walk around Hartsholme park. I took a few shots which included some of a Great Crested Grebe and also of the Grey Herons nesting in the trees.

Salford away take 2

Today we made the most of a lovely sunny Easter Monday and made the trip over to Salford for the 2nd time this year , to watch Wigan play against them in the super League . Some teams we play  twice away and once at home and some we play twice at home and once away. A very enjoyable day was had and after taking an early lead we let things slip in the 2nd half but thankfully we took the lead again with about 3 minutes to go and ended up winning  30 - 26 .Here is a few shots  including the players coming out some action from the match and some celebrations at the end .

Birds

A trip out Bird-watching a few migrants about . I did manage to get some shots of a Nuthatch and also a common Crossbill at a place called Linwood Warren which is near market Rasen.

Street Art

This evening I took a walk in to town to take some shots of some new street art that had been done under a road bridge to make it look a lot nicer and to brighten up a dull area .

Stepping up to the mark

This evening while visiting Mum I took a walk into town to take a few shots of a foot bridge that is been built at the moment to allow people to get across a busy railway crossing .

10 K

Today my plans changed so I decided to go take some shots of runners doing the Lincoln 10K . I took quite a few photos I will post some here more can be seen on my  Flickr 10K album page.
