Salford away take 2

Today we made the most of a lovely sunny Easter Monday and made the trip over to Salford for the 2nd time this year , to watch Wigan play against them in the super League . Some teams we play  twice away and once at home and some we play twice at home and once away. A very enjoyable day was had and after taking an early lead we let things slip in the 2nd half but thankfully we took the lead again with about 3 minutes to go and ended up winning  30 - 26 .Here is a few shots  including the players coming out some action from the match and some celebrations at the end .

10 K

Today my plans changed so I decided to go take some shots of runners doing the Lincoln 10K . I took quite a few photos I will post some here more can be seen on my  Flickr 10K album page.

Road to victory

Today we had another trip to Watch wigan play at home against the Catalan dragons . A few Ex Wigan players play for the so this was set to be an interesting match. In the end it was a very one sided game as Wigan thrashed them 42 - 0 . A few pre match shots and a couple of early shots from the match itself before I settled down to enjoy the game.

Wigan Away Day

Today we took the journey over to Salford to watch Wigan Warriors play in the Super League. A very cold windy day but thankfully it was worth it as Wigan had a change in fortune and won a fairly tight match 30 - 22. Here is a few shots from the ground which was a new one for us to visit.

Wigan at home

A trip over to watch Wigan Warriors play against Hull in the Rugby League super League today.
A bit of a poor performance from Wigan after taking the lead early on. We end up drawing level in the last minute to make it 22 all. A new rule has been introduced when the scores are level where they have a golden point to try and find the winner. Sadly for us Hull scored a drop goal to win 23 -22
