Dragon fly
Final stop at Chamber farm wood was the garden area again to check out the pond area. I was rewarded with a couple of dragonflies . The big one is a male Broad bodied chaser. there was also a couple of damselflies as well which I have included shots of.
Marsh Fritillary
Next stop at Chambers wood was to move onto Little scrubs meadow where around one thousand Marsh Fritillary butterflies could be found. I never tire seeing these and this is the largest amount of them I have seen at one time.A small selection of my shots which also includes an Orchid which is past its best but is the 1st for me a Butterfly Orchid which was the only one there
Broad Bordered bee hawk Moth
This morning a trip out to Chambers wood a few miles outside of Lincoln. I went to take shots of butterflies and Moths. Upon arriving at the car park I went to check out the garden area where I found this lovely Moth. I saw at least 7 individuals but could have been more as they move around very quickly. Here is a selection of some of my shots of it .
